Isuzu Motors Achieved Big Milestone By 1 Lakh Production

Isuzu Motors India has achieved a significant milestone by producing 100,000 vehicles at its manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. This achievement comes approximately eight years after the company commenced operations in April 2016.

The landmark vehicle was a maroon Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross, which rolled off the assembly line, underscoring the model's popularity in the Indian market.

Since launching its Phase-II operations in 2020, which included a state-of-the-art press shop facility and engine assembly plant, Isuzu Motors India has rolled out over 1.4 million pressed parts. In response to growing market demand, the company has doubled its vehicle and engine production over the past two years.

Rajesh Mittal, President and Managing Director of Isuzu Motors India, highlighted the company's commitment to diversity, noting that approximately 22% of the production line workforce comprises talented women. He also emphasized that 100% of the production workforce are diploma engineers, ensuring adherence to Isuzu's global standards of manufacturing excellence.

This milestone reflects Isuzu's unwavering commitment to the Indian market and its focus on delivering reliable, high-quality vehicles tailored for India. The company plans to further expand its reach across the country to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
